Overall, ING is a good company but you have to be ready for your role.
The good thingsING has a good working environment and culture. Seniors are helpful and management team, depending on the team, do their best to help the team achieve their full potential. Compensation is also good as well as the allowances (although some are taxable). I also like their hybrid set-up and flexible working hours.
The challengesFrom my experience, work life balance is a bit hard now that there are a lot of restructuring happening in the organization. Some projects are being hastened which causes instability within the team at times. Having to integrate teams as well causes more confusion with the roles and responsibilities.

Work experience will differ from what team you will be assigned to. I was unfortunate because I was assigned to a bad team.
The good things- Competitive salary and benefits - Nice offices - Since ING is a multinational company, you can work with other cultures around the globe
The challenges- Disorganized processes making it hard to work - Unclear role - Immature bosses and not-so-good company culture

Join any department in ING but not their HR Dept.
The good thingsGood office locations in BGC and Ayala-EDSA and overall employee benefits.
The challengesWorking area for Recruitment Team is like a small shoe box. So many recruiters but no decent work space allocated for them. Recruiters either use the training room when all are onsite or squeeze themselves in the small dark corner room while rest of HR enjoys huge, well-lit space. Many HR people in this organization have no respect for data privacy and confidentiality. Very high attrition for their HR dept too.

    Great company to work with.
The good thingsGreat company to work with. Sustainability at its very core of operations from top management to support teams.
The challengesAdjusting to European culture if one has not had any experiences on it yet. But overall it fosters collaboration and transparency.

A Company that Values Its Employees
The good thingsThis company provides very competitive pay, generous benefits, good work environment, and balanced work-life is the default.
The challengesBureaucracy can sometimes hamper development, but this is such a small point for security that it brings.

Great to work here, there are always pros and cons
The good thingsHybrid set up, in the early months everything was working great. However due to the relocation of the office and frequent transferring of teams and type of workload mastery could be more challenging. But the culture the people are great. Managers always ask which direction you want to take so that they know if you require further training to get promoted or what
The challengesDue to the frequent changing of teams mastery of the work would be more challenging. However since they make you do a lot of different work your scope would be expanding which is nice as well.

All other things except management and workload - perfect place!
The good thingsCompensation is above average as compared to other companies Will definitely put food in your table
The challengesOffice Politics Poor management skills of management people, micromanagement Almost centralized decision making, other opinions are never considered for most part except for petty items in which employees can self-organize themselves Workload Less concern about employees' welfare as long as originally plans are achieved Career advancement and growth not that achievable Performance assessments based only on eyes and ears, only high level and no in depth evidence and investigations

    Excellent Company Culture, People-centric Values
The good thingsBeen with the company for 5 years now and have grown from consultant to a leadership seat now. I really appreciate the structured training that on-boarding until your career progressions. There are opportunities to move up locally, or to explore the 60+ other markets where there is a Robert Walters office. I have travelled to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Ireland for my training and company trips. There is no other professional recruitment firm tin the Philippines like RW. As for values, we uphold a people-centric approach that starts in the office and cascades to our clients and candidates. We advocate for building long-term relationships and helping clients and candidates make critical decisions in their business and even personal lives, as a career switch or building a team actually impacts your day-to-day more than you think.
The challengesIt is a competitive environment and you are around people who are highly-driven, so the job is not for everyone. But if you are truly committed to honing your craft and working with the best - this is the right company. Employee selection process is tedious but for good reason. There is a lot of emphasis in culture fit and values alignment - these would always come first.

    High standard of quality, people-centric
The good thingsOpen work culture where people are treated as family. Leaders are smart, intelligent and efficient. They will really mould you to become the best consultant, empowers you to make decisions and fosters entrepreneurial mindset. Lots of opportunities to grow and senior management is home-grown talent. There are travels abroad for training and really good place to learn how to be a tech recruiter.
The challengesIt's very hard to get in and learning curve can be longer because this is 360 recruitment. You must be good in time management since you are juggling so many things but this is a good training for any professional who joins RW.

The good thingsThe company offers a lot of social activities, there are social clubs to choose from based on your hobbies.internal training are also available to hone your soft skills.
The challengesBe careful what team you will be assigned as there are a lot of employees that are greedy and competition is very high.

Great entrepreneurial culture, high level of quality
The good thingsRobert Walters encourages you to build your own business which is very empowering unlike other local firms where it is very transactional and hierarchical. They really polish you to become the best in the market. Highly professional service and corporate look. It is like working for a firm in New York or Tokyo. Multinational and open culture.
The challengesBecause of the high standards for hiring people to work for them. Difficult to get hired. Chances are slim and the process is long. But when you get hired, it is because you have high potential.

    A good company
The good thingsI think ING is a great avenue for people who want to diversify their career in banking. The work-life balance is well kept and people here care about your welfare. What I like working in this company is that they exceptionally flexible enough to understand your needs as an individual
The challengesOn a superficial note, It's more on the location. Traveling to Global City is quite a challenge since I live in the Northern part of Manila.
