    Traumatic Experience
The good thingsThe only good thing about this job that made me want to go to work was my team mates
The challengesManagement is really bad with our team manager. QAs were not helpful. The HR was not helpful as well, emailed / contacted with them about the payroll, it took 2 months to get a not useful answer. And too many political issues with other teams in the same account. IT IS VERY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE AS THIS IS MY FIRST JOB

Please, proceed with caution. Ask them "What will happen next" before the Ms Teams interview.
The good thingsThey were professional until the Ms Teams interview happened.
The challengesInterview process was professional, but I’ve waited 4 days and emailed twice asking for updates—no email, text, or call. You spent your time preparing for the said interview. Prioritized their schedule over other important matters but all you got is radio silence. Communication with candidates needs improvement.

Maintain respect and avoid dismissive cues to improve the interview experience.
The good thingsBeing considered for the role and given the opportunity to interview was appreciated, despite some aspects of the process feeling unprofessional.
The challengesA discouraging interview experience with HGS for the Claims Specialist role on February 9, 2026, around 1:00 - 1:20 PM. If the interview was recorded, I trust this will help identify the session. During the discussion, I felt that some of her responses and remarks were delivered in a sarcastic and unfriendly manner, and there were instances of audible reactions that came across as dismissive (such as brief, mocking sounds at certain points). This made the conversation uncomfortable and limited my ability to respond confidently and openly to the questions. I fully understand that interviews can be structured and direct. My intention in sharing this feedback is not to criticize, but to express how the tone of the interaction affected the overall experience as an applicant. I believe a respectful and professional environment helps candidates present their qualifications more effectively and reflects positively on the organization. Hope this feedback helps for future interview processes.

transformative training experience that strengthened my passion for technical work.
The good thingsI have developed a strong appreciation for technical disciplines, particularly after completing my On-the-Job Training at the Philippine National Oil Company – Energy Supply Base (PNOC-ESB). The experience deepened my interest in the field and strengthened my commitment to pursuing further growth in the technical aspects of my profession.”
The challengesMy statement could be improved by adding more specific details about the technical fields I enjoyed and the particular tasks I handled during my On-the-Job Training at the Philippine National Oil Company – Energy Supply Base (PNOC-ESB). Including these elements would create a clearer picture of how the experience strengthened my interest in technical work. Additionally, enhancing the flow between my appreciation for the technical field and the impact of my OJT would make the message more cohesive. Expanding on the skills I developed, the challenges I encountered, and how the training shaped my professional goals would also help make the statement more substantial and professionally compelling.

Unpleasant HR and she is so disorganized during an interview.
The good thingsNothing, just pure waste of my time.
The challengesThe HR is so horrible, I mean who asks for a copy of your contract from your previous employer? That's confidential, I told them that I can only provide a certificate of employment but the HR keep insisting I send them the former. Which greatly aggravated me, I mean I've been never asked for a confidential requirement before because what happens in my former company, stays in my former company.

Great company. Salary is above minimum and competitive!
The good thingsWhat I love about the company is that it provides a Work-From-Home opportunity wherein I can work closely with my relatives, with no issues when it comes to the client and the managers as well. Salary will be posted into your account on time.
The challengesI don't have any challenges.

I'm happy working at the company — the people are great, the management is supportive, and the work environment is enjoyable. However, the salary does not meet my financial needs. While there is an annual increase, it remains insufficient to keep up with rising expenses.
The good thingsThe company fosters a positive and engaging work culture, offering various activities that promote employee well-being and a collaborative environment.
The challengesWhile the work environment is positive, the salary appraisal falls short and does not adequately reflect the cost of living or financial expectations

    CEBU SITE. HORRIBLE APPLICATION PROCESS.
    The good thingsnothing. nothing. nothing.
The challengesFor Cebu Site. They have this funny behavior for applicants. They'll call and try to look for your name and then they'll tell you stories such as attending a meeting real quick or suddenly becoming busy in the middle of the call and will act like they can't hear then drop the call won't reach back.

Had multiple rounds if interview and for me, it really went well. Told me that they would call after a few days but none. They were silent. No emails or texts. Kept following up but no response. Their behavior is so unprofessional. They could have let the candidates know if they made it or not than giving them false hopes.
The good thingsThey were accommodating at first
    The challengesUnresponsive, unprofessional

I had high hopes for this company after going through multiple rounds of interviews, but sadly, the experience left much to be desired. After dedicating time and effort to their rigorous process, I was met with complete silence. No rejection, no feedback—just radio silence. A simple "Hi, sorry, you didn't make it" would have been sufficient, but the lack of response shows a lack of professionalism and respect for applicants. It's disappointing to see companies treat candidates this way, especially after asking for our time and effort. Job seekers, be prepared: this company seems to lack basic courtesy in their recruitment process.
The good thingsThey seem to be reaching out at first when they are still profiling you for an account or a client.
The challengesThey will leave you hanging and wondering what happened to your application.

    Stable source of income
The good thingsPay is good for experienced workers. Currently shifted to permanent remote setup (from on-site working arrangement), after on-shore client granted request. Usually, channeling your requests to deployed on-shore client is a big factor for request grants.
The challengesNot much benefits except gov't mandated ones. Annual employment performance assessment is present, but the compensation raise is lower than inflation rate.

    It is great.
The good thingsIt gives you life balance, you can work at day and enjoy by afternoon and night. The salary is high for a your job position. You can use mobile phones and internet while you're at work.
The challengesNo training, your co-workers are the ones to train you and teach you stuff. No growth opportunities, no career enhancement, seems like you're just wasting your bachelors degree because they won't give you a chance to even apply your skills. The work is too easy and it won't help if you're trying to gain experiences. Also, no benefits aside from HMO.
