What’s it like working at Guanzon Merchandising Corporation?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Guanzon Merchandising Corporation offers several positive aspects, including a friendly work environment with supportive colleagues and good teamwork. The company provides valuable opportunities for fresh graduates to start their careers and offers a range of benefits including leave credits, insurance, and company discounts. Employees appreciate the learning opportunities and chance to develop their professional skills, particularly in sales and customer service.

However, employees have noted some areas for improvement, including the compensation structure which is considered low relative to workload and responsibilities. The six-day work week can impact work-life balance, while strict office policies regarding uniforms and personal items can feel restrictive. Additionally, the limited formal training for new employees means they often need to learn on the job.

A decent first job with strict policies and limited training.
The good thingsThe company is open to fresh graduates and applicants with no experience, which makes it a good starting point for building IT work experience. The staff are generally friendly depending on the team, and the benefits include basic accident insurance, 9 leave credits per year, and a birthday leave. There are also additional provisions for pregnancy-related leave.
The challengesThe salary is low compared to the workload and expectations. Some system users can be rude or unprofessional, which adds stress to support tasks. There is no proper training or onboarding, as new hires are expected to work immediately. Office policies are very strict, including mandatory uniforms for non–client-facing roles, surrendering personal phones, no personal items or food at your desk, and tightly scheduled breaks. Working 6 days a week makes the leave credits feel insufficient, and some offices feel plain and uninspiring. Overall, the environment can feel rigid and not aligned with the nature of IT work.
