The good thingsBefore I got a job offer to Guanco, I'm an experienced architectural drafter and furniture designer. Being here is rewarding because I gain a lot of knowledge when it comes to different kinds of stones and its usage, thanks to my superiors and colleagues for helping me out.
The challengesThe greatest challenges that I face while working here are time management and the stress regarding to project deadlines. In able to finish the projects assigned to you, you have to have a great time management skills and ability to cope with the stress of your project's deadline, some of the projects that I encountered has a short turn-around time. So, I suggest not be late for work and be very attentive to every details of your projects for you to finish it with minimal mistake.
Because being a quantity surveyor in general is very rewarding job but very stressful at the same time. But if you love what you do, you'll enjoy being one.
