Under Appreciated CompanyThe good thingsGAKKEN (Philippines), INC. has good leaders, albeit these people are not in the top management. The management cares for the employees. They have nice, helpful benefits that, naturally, will be given only if the employees work hard for them. It is a good training ground for people in sales or in the printing industry.
The challengesThe management could listen more and/or be more open to new ideas from the fresh blood that comes in. Sometimes there is a perception that new ideas are bad or not appreciated. The performance evaluation should also be given more weight. It is such a useful tool, but underutilized that the employees do not sometimes see the value of their work because they tend to think that nobody cares.
