FCCMPC HISTORY:An institution founded by the employees of the Fairchild: A Schlumberger Company, now "Fairchild Semiconductor (Phils.), Inc."The Cooperative was formed primarily to provide lending and other services that would uplift the quality of life of its shareholders and benefit the community.It started from a meager $5,730 paid-up share capital infused by the company with only 40 members as Incorporators and registered with the Department of Agriculture, Region VII in September 18, 1981 under the name of Fairchild Employees Multi Purpose Coop.After 20 years since date of registration , the term expired in 2001 and registered in October 7, 2004 as Fairchild Cebu Community Credit Cooperative (F4C). In June 2011, the amendments to change the coop’s name from F4C to FCCMPC (Fairchild Cebu Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative) was approved by CDA .Attained the highest surplus at Php30.2M. An increased of 70% which resulted to a high 12.1% Dividend rate and 15.2% Patronage refund released to the members last February 14, 2013.FCCMPC, now an Open Type (Multi-Purpose) Coop, is already 41 years in total operation and service.•August 2016: CDA Gawad Parangal 2016 awardee – 1st Runner up for “MostOutstanding Cooperative” (Large category) in Region 7•November 2016: ISO 9001:2015 Certified under TUV RheinlandZERO NON CONFORMITY during audit from 2016 to 2022•December 2017: Awardee of 2017 Villar Sipag Awards on poverty reduction(1 of the 20 organizations nationwide)Became one of the Billionaire COOP in The CountryFCCMPC ranking in the Philippine Cooperative Sector:Belongs to top 100 Big Coops in the country out of 26,599 registered coops The 6th Biggest Cooperative in Region VII out of 2,400 cooperatives The 4th Biggest out of 930 coops in the Province of Cebu The Biggest Cooperative in Lapu-Lapu City out of 100 registered coops
