What’s it like working at EY?

    AI summary of recent reviews

EY stands out for its strong commitment to employee development through comprehensive training programmes and global exposure opportunities. The company cultivates an inclusive and collaborative culture where leadership is approachable and colleagues are supportive. Employees appreciate the generous benefits package and the flexible working arrangements that accommodate different needs.

However, employees face certain challenges, particularly during busy seasons when workload demands can be intense. There are concerns about compensation not always keeping pace with workload and market rates, especially for long-term employees. Some staff members note that management decisions could benefit from more transparency, and career progression paths might be slower than anticipated in certain areas.

Good for starters, not competitive salary in the long run.
The good thingsIt's good for those who doesn't have any experience in programming and wants to build up their career. Even when you are not engage in a project, they will assign you task that will help you gain experience with the frameworks or line of work of your job.
The challengesThe Task that you need to do increases and are getting more complicated, the longer you stay. The salary increase that I am receiving is not competitive, sometimes there are no Annual pay increase and bonus, especially if you're not engage in a project despite having a lot of task being assigned.

Not so good for a global organization
The good thingsIt's easy to file leaves and has flexibility on shifts.
The challengesHR may not be able to help you for any concerns. At all. Compensation benefit for my level is too low.

Consulting, SaT, and Executive Talent are great departments to work in
The good thingsGood career development, friendly and helpful management, working with different people globally
The challengesLocal practice firm, SGV, kind of turned the firm into a BPO which it isn't. Hopefully they will not succumb to the 'call-center' culture since it's not a call-center.
