Manager based in India is not being helpful at all.
The good things• Higher HMO coverage • Free parking (note: only for leaders)
The challenges• Very slow onboarding process; getting assets and building accesses took over a month • No induction or training phase for new joiners that is specific to the group or process; you literally need find your own way — on your own • 100% onsite work setup • Reporting Manager who is based in India seems like he’s setting the person up to fail; he never setup any 1-on-1 with the person; multiple requests to have it so we can discuss expectations on roles and responsibilities have been rejected; yet, he expects the person to be very excellent with his work; leadership fails to setup expectation at the onset

I enjoyed my stay with EXL. It was a good career growth for me, although the salary compensation was really Low.
The good thingsWorked with Australian customers. Day shift. Fixed shift is offered and during Christmas and new year, no work due to holiday. :)
The challengesThere was a time that number of people working on the management is so toxic. But later part when a new account came and the management was good. Salary is just average.

    EXL a great work place
The good thingsI have been with the company for almost 6 months. So far, I can say that I am happy to work with almost everyone here. My bosses are nice and knowledgeable, my colleagues are easy to work with. Transferring from a stressful and toxic company to this nice place is such a blessing.
The challengesI haven’t encountered any challenges so far. But I will definitely be in the look out! Internal promotions are a bit tough as you would need tenure if you want to move up the ladder.

    Worst employer so far
The good thingsThey hire the right people which have positive and outgoing personalities but they promote worst officers/leaders that doesn't know how to handle a team, when it really comes to management they're at their worst.
The challengesEveryday is a challenge. Name it they have it. I was about to leave the company but due to pandemic I was not able to do so.

Won't go back even if it's the last workplace on the planet
The good thingsGood offers during Recruitment. Induction/New Employee Orientation is seamless. Management often attempts to engage employees.
The challengesRecruitment regularly loses contracts and other documents. Management focuses on talent acquisition instead of talent retention. There is so much rework and redundancy in their processes that could be streamlined but suggestions fall on deaf ears. The company and management also appears to not care about the salaries of employees - salary disputes are done regularly as the management fails to apply corrections before deadlines. Internet is fluctuating and computers are often malfunctioning. IT support is near to non-existent, if not inefficient - you're better off praying for divine intervention. Career growth and development here is similar to a child growing without parents as you'll never know how you'll turn out! Prospective leaders are not supported by upper management and the programs they have are just supplementary.
