In a single process, this special machine forms the plastic bottle, fills it with the desired solution and seals it thereby reducing the risk of contamination.In 1994, Euro-Med introduced small volume parenterals in multiple-dose plastic vials with a convenient twist-off closure in 20 mL and 50 mL pack sizes. In 1998, Euro-Med expanded its parenteral line to include plastic ampoules in 2mL, 2.5 mL, 3 mL, 4 mL, 5 mL and 10 mL sizes.In 2000, Euro-Med started the manufacturing of IV fluids in glass bottles in its manufacturing plant in Mandaluyong City. The plant can produce IV solutions and specialty solutions such as amino acids and plasma expanders. Sizes range from 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL.Euro-Med has an extensive nationwide marketing and distribution network with several provincial depots strategically located in key cities all over the Philippines.
