    An experience like never before.
The good thingsGoing in a public hospital from a classroom setup really put my life in perspective of how the healthcare system works in the Philippines. It was absolutely tiring yet equally rewarding as it was a jam-packed 6 months wherein I got to experience a lot of things I have never seen or did before.
The challengesThe lack of staff especially at grave hours which is totally understandable.

    Good learning experience
The good thingsHigh pay relative to other residency training programs. Immediate supervisor was generally fair. There are a lot of nice people working here.
The challengesManagement has low priority of laboratory medicine and diagnostics. The pathologist and medical technologists are taken for granted most of the time. PhilHeath 50-50 sharing policy sucks for the physicians.
