The general work environment is largely positive, with most employees preferring to focus on their individual responsibilities. That said, some leaders from various business units appear to be less inclined to engage directly with offshore contractors. This can sometimes create a sense of disconnect or exclusion, possibly due to trust concerns or a preference to work solely within their immediate teams.
The good thingsThe company offers a highly competitive compensation package—above market rates and even higher than those provided by many Fortune 500 firms operating in the country. This generous pay scale applies even to roles that are below mid- to senior-level positions.
The challengesThe organizational structure is somewhat untraditional. There is currently no dedicated HR department specifically assigned to manage offshore contractors. Instead, a designated individual handles limited HR-related matters on a goodwill basis. While well-intentioned, this person does not have specialized HR expertise and may not always be available to address contractor concerns comprehensively.
