    Good Company - Yes Toxic Environment - Yes
    The good thingsThe company itself is good, w/ excellent salary & benefits. They provide laptops, so working from home is possible.
    The challengesThe hiring process took a very long time & the start date kept getting moved, w/c was exhausting. During my time in the company, I experienced mental health challenges that were triggered there. I was later diagnosed & am still on medication. It’s possible I was just placed in the wrong team, but even during training & after moving to production, both the trainer & tenured agents often said we could be terminated, even when we were doing our best. Since I had just been laid off from my previous job, the experience affected.

    Great pay, accomodating employees and colleagues, but VERY unprofessional scheduling and management teams
    The good thingsThe free food during working hours was a huge benefit, people I've worked with were very approachable, workplace ambience itself is more than satisfactory
    The challengesI'm sorely disappointed with Cognizant's clearance process as mine was NOT processed nearly a month after I immediately resigned due to poor scheduling and work overload. They only addressed it when I threaten to report them to DOLE. Context: I was placed on a 4am schedule and I have LITERALLY no transport access 1-2hrs prior to the aforementioned schedule from where I'm residing (which is Malols Bulacan), schedule changes were so rapid on my last month with them with it changing every week, and the workload was so overwhelming a that resulted me burning out and logging out way beyond my schedule end of shift. I am not spending way more than I was paid for just to accomodate my then 4am schedule. I don't even care anymore if I get blacklisted for resigning immediately, but your scheduling team with your partner company Google is so toxic as they doesn't care about empoyees' safety and well-being.

    The good thingsWhat I'd like Cognizant is they have profit sharing benefits.
    The challengesI can't think of any to be honest. Maybe filing of VL's is of the challenge for me.

    Recruitment process is very bad.

    The challengesRecruitment process is too slow. They waste your time waiting even if they know that you’re not qualified from the start. They only need your attendance for their own benefit.

    Company Puts Clients First, Employees Last
    The good thingsFood is ready since it is a Google account that allows staff to save. People are kind and the workplace is pleasant. I dealt with no issues with my team during my stay.
    The challengesBefore work began, the job description and contract were ambiguous. The staff are informed of everything along the process, leaving them with shocked expressions on their faces. The business places more emphasis on clients and accounts than on employees. Five schedule changes occurred over a period of three months, which was extremely upsetting.
