Good Opportunity for Fresh Graduates or Seeking a Career Change
The good thingsThere's work-life balance in this company and salary is competitive for Fresh Graduates and entry level. Managers are very considerate and they don't micromanage their employees.
The challengesDue to the nature as a BPO company, unless you have a managerial role or an HR staff the job positions here feel dead-end. It seems this company is only a good stepping stone.

A company that truly values its people
The good thingsI’ve been with the company for three years, and I can confidently say it has been an amazing place to work. During my time here, I’ve had countless opportunities to expand my skills and develop new ones, thanks to a management team that fosters a truly collaborative and supportive environment. What stands out most to me is the genuine recognition for contributions and accomplishments. This is the first company where I’ve truly felt valued for the work I do. The culture is positive, inclusive, and team-oriented. Everyone is willing to support one another to succeed together.
The challengesNone that I can think of.

A Great And Meaningful Journey So Far
The good thingsI’ve been with Civicom Pacific for over 15 years and counting, which speaks volumes about the company’s culture and purpose. Civicom is a Buy-Forward organization committed to helping the poorest of the poor, and that mission is genuinely reflected in the work we do every day. The culture is one of Civicom’s greatest strengths—supportive, values-driven, and focused on growth. The company invests in its people and provides real opportunities to develop and build long-term careers. Leadership, from the CEO and Vice President to all levels of management, is incredibly compassionate, inspirational, and purpose-driven, always striving to create meaningful value for customers, employees, and the community. Through initiatives like the Feathers Project, Civicom extends its impact beyond the workplace. I truly love being part of this organization and can honestly see myself retiring here.
The challengesMore manager training to help improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Servant leadership is evident.
The good thingsThe culture. More than anything, the grace being given by leaders. Servant leadership is very evident. HR is very down-to-earth and approachable. You can tell that people management is prioritized here.
The challengesBetter management and marketing of the inhouse charity, Feathers, so that more employees are informed of who we are helping as a company.

Feeling guided, aligned and seen, working in the dev team
The good thingsI like the open culture, wherein I see many ways to communicate feedback. In our development team, I like that we still do the hybrid work setup, most of the time we are working from home. The goals are clear, and we get to see not just our team goals but also the business unit we are working for and the company as a whole. Our IT head, who is based in the US, is easy to reach out to and helps you get things done or move forward. We are not micromanaged, and I feel independent and like a team player at the same time.
The challengesI think we need more engaging and productive events that allows us to interact with other departments.

Not the best work experience I've had. :(
The good thingsIf you prefer a light workload, chill, and a less strict corporate environment, this could be a good fit.
The challenges*Office Facilities: based on previous reviews, can still be improved: window leaks needed makeshift fixes (like trash bags) during heavy rains; lack of dedicated ops floor maintenance team (only on-call nearby staff, apart from onsite admin staff); no daily onsite nurse for first aid needs; fans as alternative when AC fails; has only one nap room; *Operations: few KPIs in place; performance assessment could be more data-driven; *Leadership: - ops knowledge can be improved, especially senior mgmt. to help keep strong client relationships; keeping a positive workplace can still be improved; *Compensation & Benefits: - salary and raises may be less competitive than posted in job ad; HMO coverage is quite minimal; company-covered gym membership covers quite a small portion of the cost-- employee share equals a full payment in other decent gyms; *Incentives: - Q1-Q3 incentives are quite lower than what other companies can offer (1 quarter ≈ 1 month incentive from other companies).

I stayed here for so long because of the work environment and the people.
The good thingsI am able to support my family over the years through this job. My tenure alone can say a lot. I have colleagues who have stayed for about the same time period as me.

I will leave this company. I won't recommend this to anyone!!! Low salary, no increase, exceeding overtime. Lots of backlogs due to minimal employees.
The good thingsThey say, they are really good people.
The challengesThe facility. Old building. Few employees. Bad odor when going to the comfort room. There are only 3 cubicles, the toilet bowl in the middle is clogged. Low salary, more tasks to do. They want perfect employees.

    Hope they'll change and improve
The good thingsThe IT manager is really supportive, and the entire tech team is highly collaborative and pleasant to work with.
The challengesBusiness heads has an unequal treatment of local tech, while US based tech received more attention and awards regardless of how small the achievements compared to those who really work hard. Business leaders are overly focused on cost-cutting measures that may jeopardize their own operations. They don't even know how to reciprocate, for them, you're just another worker that is replaceable anytime. Always neglected tech recommendations and blamed the tech Team Success Group, always finds ways to support their wrongful narrative and always have something to say and always reacting. They always hiring because people are always leaving.

    Good, only at first.
The good thingsThe only good thing is that they have a work-from-home setup.
The challengesWhile working at home, you'll be challenged with profound KPIs, management that feels they are just following everything and not addressing your concerns, a tech team that doesn't know what to do, and lastly, mediocre salary with tasks being added up to your plate.

Still enduring until the pandemic is over
The good thingsI'm thankful to my team. My team members are all awesome people who never leaves until all of us are done. My team lead is very understanding and covers for us, making sure we at least get proper work-life balance.
The challengesFor a company that has been around for 10+ years, they still act as if they're a start up. 10+ years and the KPIs are not set. The scorecard is still a work in progress. Tech protocols keep changing and adding rules but not looking to solve the current and recurring issues. The management team is very numbers based that it is the specialists fault if the numbers aren't hit even for just a day. Specialists are overworked, working from 4 AM to 7 PM, others as late as 10 PM just to finish the queue because backlogs aren't allowed. OT hours are capped at 20 hours for the whole LOB, with approx 100 employees. OT hours filed needs to be justified first before being approved.

    Why it is better here
The good thingsI like that this company really makes the employee feel like they can be heard. The people you work with make you feel welcome and really make going to work fun and enjoyable. I also felt that the company really cares for its employees, especially during the pandemic when everything was getting crazy.
The challengeswe have 2 separate offices in a different building but located within the same block. So sometimes you'd have to go back and forth to support both offices.

    Expanding One's Limits
The good thingsBeing with Civicom has driven me to expand my limits -- being able to do and persist beyond what I've known myself for. My sense of missionhood is strong and the organization has a way of imbibing this belief system among its employees, not letting them just float away in meaningless work.
The challengesThere's still a lot of room for improvement and the important thing is, it's on its way.

    Meaningful employment and good people
The good thingsThe company sets good objectives. Since its foundation, Civicom commits to giving 10% profit to charity. There are opportunities to learn if you know where to look. Everyone is driven and does the best they can. If you like slacking of this is not the place for you. Fortunate to work with good people, a lot of the employees have been with the company for 5 years+.
The challengesYou may need to work extended hours if you choose to. Mid-level managers need more training.

    Not for the average folks
The good thingsIf you're driven, intelligent, willing to apply yourself (heart, mind and time) into the work, you'll quickly move up and be recognized. I like that even the VP and BU Directors openly share their appreciation for your hard work when you deserve the recognition. If you're lazy and expect things to be given to you and lack care and commitment, this is not the company for you.
The challengesNot a place for lazy people. It's important that you understand your role as part of a team.

Really Good People to wrok with.
The good thingsValues each and every employee for their skills and contribution to the company. Doesn't feel you're just another statistic.
The challengesIf you came from a big BPO company you'd see differences in systems and process but it is not a deal-breaker because in terms of compensation and benefits Civicom is still competitive.

No salary increase unless if you step up
The good thingsFree wifi, very friendly people.
The challengesAlways on overtime. There are specific accounts that requires a lot of people but the management does not want to put people there since they can "finish" it even when they are on overtime every day. Day shift becomes an all-day shift due to lack of people on the account. Basically, the distribution of workforce in specific accounts are not balanced. Also the company is hesitant to give their employees summer events and the like.

Could have been the best place to work
The good things- Chill work compared to other BPOs - WFH setup was provided during the pandemic - It's easy to get along with colleagues in general - Office location is accessible whether you live down south (Laguna, Cavite) or up north (Parañaque, Las Piñas, Makati?) - Quarterly incentive + SL conversion + perfect attendance bonus + full 13th month (not just the basic salary) - Easy to apply for leave even with no credits left - Fixed Sun & Mon off
The challenges- No salary increase. You have to "step up" and apply for another role. - Salary is lower compared to other companies on the same role - Too many contradicting policies - Scorecard/expectations are way too high - Too much workload vs salary - The company use old and slow PCs. When buying equipments or softwares, they prioritize price vs performance. - Very tight security to the point that it everything becomes useless. (Even the computers crash because of its super strict security measures!) - Too much focus and romantization towards Feathers (charity)

Overall, I had a great experience working with this company for almost five years.
The good things*Recognizing and rewarding the achievements of employees. *Fixed Sunday and Monday off. *No work on major US holidays. *Can request shift adjustment an hour before the start of shift to avoid being late. *Quarterly performance-based incentives. *Has good healthcare benefits (employee + 2 dependents)
The challengesI really enjoyed working here. I am just looking for better opportunities that can improve my skills and gain more work experiences.
