I have been trained well in this institution. However, Chong Hua Hospital is just a stepping-stone. Finish your contract with the company, and go where your hard work, effort, and time is valued and well compensated.
The good thingsState of the art facilities. Standardized protocols. International accreditation.
The challengesOverwhelming Workload = Underpaid Limited opportunities for non-nurses The institution doesn't employ enough staff, so you'll be expected to handle the work of three people.

Great, but still has room for improvement.
The good thingsYou're working for a hospital. When you will need medical help, you can get it easier and hassle-free than working in a corporate company.
The challengesWorking for a hospital should not mean everyone is a healthcare provider. In a hospital setting (most especially from the things we've learned during the pandemic), back-office employees should not be located where healthcare workers are. In the spirit of sustainability, there is a need to categorize and sort employee types. Of all the work force industries out there, hospitals should know better the meaning of contamination and isolation.

The company as much as possible will give their best on what they can do for their employees.
The good thingsYou’ll have great transcription experience which shoulders the vital role in the operations.
The challengesThe company has it’s own management policies that gives positive benefits for the employees. The challenge there is just it’s too complex that employees doesn’t get their rightful benefits and somehow in the operations gives difficulty on employees’ part though in practice there’s no easy job but try implying it for you to see if it your compensated well.

The experience is great but the staff's are poorly compensated.
The good thingsThe bright side is you get to have a great clinical experience and skill development. You are also well equipped with up to date training and seminars like Advanced Cardiac Life Support. But you have to pay for all of your trainings attended in case if you are not able to finish your contract for 3.6 years including your probationary period.
The challengesIts probably the different kind of cases the you encounter in the emergency room everyday because there are no two patients that has the same case. Although there are some but has different co morbidities and different treatment modalites. But overall its not much of a challenge anymore if you have encountered a lot already.

    A High Standard Facility
The good thingsI love how friendly and professional my colleagues are. The institution follows a high standard policy, which is very great for experience and career improvement. They provide numerous trainings and seminars which help their staff to upgrade in their field and be the best that they can be. They give a number of incentives and bonuses. They even recognize their staff who work diligently.
The challengesThere is nothing they could have done better. They are a great company.

The good thingsThe Hospital in its quest for excellence in health service, continuously promote learning and growth. They are driven by their efforts to learn from past experience including feedbacks from external and internal customers.
The challengesAs it continuously improve, the challenges is the attrition of staff due to better opportunities abroad, it requires succession planning including the need for better retention program amongst its leaders since they are very much viable to be considered for position in other countries.
