BIMCAP offers diverse projects, global collaboration, and a supportive work environment.
The good thingsWhat I like most about working in BIMCAP is the opportunity to further my understanding in BIM. The company offers a diversified portfolio of projects that let me experience different facets of the industry. Furthermore, I am able to collaborate with local and international colleagues which immerses me in the different BIM workflows across the globe. The work environment is homey and light. Everyone is friendly and approachable, even the top management. They provide channels of communication and is open to suggestion and improvement. I felt that I am part of the development of the company especially when my thoughts are heard.
The challengesWorking for an international company like BIMCAP comes with its own set of challenges. As someone with experience in local companies, I found the culture at BIMCAP to be quite different at first. It took some time to adjust, but once I immersed myself in the company's goals—encouraging communication, interaction, and collaboration for the advocacy of education—I truly began to appreciate being part of something unique and different.

Innovative Spirit and Dynamic Work Environment
The good thingsMy experience at Bimcap has been highly rewarding and educational. Working in a startup environment allowed me to be involved in a variety of projects and tasks, which significantly broadened my skills and knowledge in the BIM field. The open-door policy promoted by management encouraged open communication and made it easier to bring up any concerns or suggestions. My manager and colleagues were receptive and willing to listen, which helped in addressing issues promptly. My manager was supportive and provided clear guidance, which helped me grow professionally. They were approachable and open to feedback, fostering an environment where I felt comfortable sharing ideas and concerns. My colleagues were equally supportive and collaborative. The team dynamics were strong, and there was a genuine sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. We worked well together, leveraging each other’s strengths to overcome challenges and achieve our goals. Overall, the supportive and collaborative nature of the team was one of the highlights of my time at Bimcap.
The challengesThere is room for improvement in terms of ongoing training and development. The fast-paced environment of a startup like Bimcap often means that learning happens on the job, which is valuable, but additional structured training programs would be beneficial.
