The Bais City Water District (BCWD) is a Government Owned and/or Controlled Corporation which was created pursuant to Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No.93-332 dated October 6, 1993 of the City of Bais and operating under the provisions of P.D. 198 as amended. It was issued a Certificate of Conformance by the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) last February 4, 1994. It started of with an initial coverage of no less than nine (9) barangays with not more than 850 connections having the problem of low supply of water. In CY 2000, under the management of the incumbent General Manager, Mr. Evan Irish L. Acas, the district started to develop and serving (23) barangays in Bais City. Last September 7, 2011, the Local Government Officials of the Municipality of Mabinay requested the District to extend its services towards Mabinay through annexation, thus, our new name - BAIS CITY-MABINAY WATER DISTRICT (BCMWD) which started with the initial 800 connections from three (3) barangays as turned-over from its old management. At present, the Bais City-Mabinay Water District Annex Office is already serving five (5) Barangays
