    Gained hands-on experience in using SolidWorks to design and model mechanical components for ammunition manufacturing, while also supporting basic machine maintenance tasks during my On-the-Job Training at Armscor.
    The good thingsOne of the most valuable experiences during my On-the-Job Training at Armscor was working with SolidWorks. I enjoyed learning how to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical components used in ammunition manufacturing. This hands-on experience helped me understand how each part plays a critical role in the function and assembly of the machines. It also improved my technical drawing skills and gave me a deeper appreciation for precision and design in real-world engineering applications.
    The challengesWhile I found the working environment in the production area quite challenging due to the constant machine noise, the overall experience was still very rewarding. I discovered that I truly enjoyed working with SolidWorks, particularly in designing and modeling machine components. It was fulfilling to apply what I learned in school to real-life projects and see how mechanical drawings contribute to actual production processes. This experience confirmed my interest in pursuing a career in design and CAD-related work, preferably in a quieter or office-based engineering setting.
