Just fine if you want a good place to start.
The good thingsI like it that they are very generous in providing perks and benefits especially when they need to offer overtime. They also provide movie day so as to encourage work life balance among employees. Free HMO to you and your dependents effective Day 1.
The challengesI would like to help the clients more but you have to be conscious with your time (AHT). Thus, you may need to sacrifice some of your services as well instead of going the extra mile. The culture of the people working is not as warm as you think. Since this is customer service and may become toxic at times, it is important to socialize and just breathe with a team at a random moment within the day but it rarely happens. It is BAU so sometimes the challenge is in asking for help when assisting clients. I don't know about you but I found it a lonely environment affecting my mental health. So I decided to meet more genuine people in my next career.

A good starting point for BPO industry
The good thingsThey care about people work life balance. They try their best to balance everything.
The challengesI think the metrics. Although doable but unnecessary. But overall, the best BPO for me before automation.

    It was fine at first
The good thingsThe environment was great and the office was always clean. There is an aura or productivity in the air. The great thing is that when you are out of the office, no aspect of work is looming above your head. The additional benefits were great - HMO and SLs & VLs
The challengesManagement became horrible as time passed. Some teams would have more lenient bosses with more forgiving metrics and work tracking means (IR: regular excel) while my team arguably had one of the most strict metrics and tracking software - we were micromanagement, in short. Salary increases were a regular thing but they were low - not the place to stay as low tier employee.

    Generally good. Trainings are great.
The good thingsLocation (QC) is great as it's just a stone-throw away from where I live. Above industry average pay hence this would make you want to stay. Discretionary leaves (US Holidays) on top of 15 VL and 15 SL. HMO, Life insurance and retirement package.
The challengesTools are antiquated, unintegrated and rarely gets update, last update was actually a downgrade. Account was unstable considering it's an in-house company and the usual office politics. Unlike with other companies, facilities (sleeping quarters, shower room, recreation area) needs improvement. Average career growth since no one wants to leave.

Work in AIG is a great experience
The good thingsOne of the things I like, while I'm working at AIG, is how they treat the employee! Even you are new they treat you as one of the Family and that is the reason why I last with the company for almost 8 years.
The challengesI lived in Mandaluyong City and AIG located in Alabang, so every day I really struggled with traffic.

Best company I've worked for so far.
The good thingsBenefits - 20% night diff, weekends off, HMO with 3 dependents (all in Day 1), following US Holidays with Discretionary leaves.
The challengesGrowth. The accounts are very stable since it is an in-house company. But career opportunities are rare.

It's okay especially for newbies you will learn a lot.
The good thingsThe benefits they gave from you to your family.
The challengesI think the only problem here is the Training. They are not detailed enough so you really have to learn how to work with minimum supervision.

    Recommendable for career growth
The good thingsI can say that AIG has been my springboard to new learning and career growth. We always have trainings available to help us in our current role. The environment is also welcoming and very friendly. The benefits are very helpful as well for me and my family.
The challengesIf you start your career here, your salary will be minimal but a little bit higher than other BPO. Also, promotion might be a difficult thing to grasp.
