    If there are other available options if you are starting out with 0 experience and want a career out of teaching, then choose that. Just not here.
    The good thingsThe students are pleasant to teach. Very receptive and appreciative.
    The challenges1. Admin and coaches are so unresponsive. If magrerespond, laging late. Coaches are okay to miss booked coaching sessions without any notification, but the teachers are tagged absent or late (all with huge deductions) when they miss a session. 2. Very low pay vs other ESL platforms

    The challengesThey pay peanuts. You won't be able to survive with your salary. They also have many deductions.

    The good thingsThe team/department I have been to was less toxic and have a friendly environment.
    The challengesThere's no room for growth. The projects are unpredictable and the deliverables are a bit challenging.

    One-of-a-kind teaching experience
    The good thingsMy time as a 51Talk Home-Based Online English Teacher helped me a lot in becoming a more capable teacher. With their free training programs, I was able to add more to my teaching kit and learned more skills. Their incentives and bonuses are high as well.

    Amazing teaching experience as a 51Talk teacher!
    The good thingsI have been a home-based teacher for quite some time and so far I enjoy everything that 51Talk offers from the training and the salary. A very wholesome teaching experience is what I've always wanted and 51Talk gave it to me.
    The challengesNothing so far, but if there will be some things in the future, I believe 51Talk will help me.

    Pleasantly Surprised. Pays Great!
    The good thingsI live by myself which means all of the bills and house responsibilities falls onto me, this job pays incredibly well and I don't need to go outside. I can pay my bills with no worry!
    The challengesI had to purchase a new webcam as the integrated one in my Laptop wasn't up to par with their standards. Not really a challenge though.
