However, they are also essential in all kinds of companies, from healthcare and food and beverage to manufacturing and call centers. Regardless of the field, it’s a must for QA Analysts to know how to research and solve various problems.
Tasks and duties
- Planning, developing, and analyzing all product-related testing.
- Implementing product tests to determine opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Recording progress and outcomes resulting from product testing.
- Documenting and reporting issues arising from the product tests.
How to become a Quality Assurance Analyst
To become a Quality Assurance Analyst in the Philippines, you usually need a bachelor degree in a related field. You should then follow up with at least a few years of experience in your chosen industry.

Complete a bachelor degree in a related field. For example, if you want to enter the food and beverage industry, you may want to take up Food Technology. If you wish to get into companies developing software, study Information Technology or Computer Science.

Get relevant experience in your chosen industry. Many Quality Assurance Analyst jobs require you to have roughly 2-3 years of experience in related companies to qualify for the role. This way, you can hone your knowledge about your products and services further.
