Tasks and duties
- Sourcing goods, services and suppliers in line with company strategy and goals.
- Engaging in bid management processes including preparing and processing tender documents.
- Performing administrative tasks such as preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries and maintaining accurate procurement records.
- Working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and suppliers to resolve disputes and performance issues.
- Conducting market research to keep abreast of latest industry trends, supply chain developments and potential suppliers.
- Liaising with suppliers in relation to orders, deliveries and quality assurance.
- Implementing and complying with company procurement policies and procedures.
How to become a Procurement Assistant
