How to become an Architectural Designer
To become an Architectural Designer, you are typically required to have a bachelor degree in architecture or related field practical experience within the industry. Although licensure for architectural designers isn't compulsory, obtaining professional certification could enhance your credibility.
Pursue a four-year bachelor degree in architecture to build up a strong knowledge base in architectural principles, design concepts, drafting techniques and construction methods.
Seek opportunities to gain practical experience in architecture through internships, entry-level positions such as Architectural Intern, Junior Architectural Designer, or Computer Aided Design Technician and apprenticeships with architectural firms or construction companies.
