Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Philippine-licensed Attorney
• 3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience
• Proven experience in contract drafting and review, compliance advisory and regulatory support, and litigation-related documentation and case support.
• Background in banking, financial services, securities, or the investment industry (US or Philippine markets)
• Exposure to US financial and legal environments is strongly preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Clear, confident, and professional communication skills with high English fluency
• Availability to work US business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting US-based clients or legal frameworks
• Exposure to financial regulations and compliance environments
• Experience working in startup or high-growth organizations
• Familiarity with legal technology tools and remote collaboration platforms

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and business-aligned advisory across contracts, compliance, and operational matters
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents
• Support litigation-related documentation and legal processes, where applicable
• Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate exposure
• Provide legal input to business decisions, negotiations, and strategic initiatives
• Assist in contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate legal records while safeguarding confidentiality and ethical standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal guidance with business and operational objectives
