Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of Employee Relations and People Business Partnering experience in the BPO or Shared Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, DOLE compliance, end-to-end case management, policy development, employee discipline, performance management, talent development, and strategic business partnering.
  • Strong ability to lead and implement organizational change processes in complex work environments.
  • Hands-on experience in leading and executing account- or program-specific projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving workplace.
  • Demonstrates a growth-oriented approach, challenges the status quo, and thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong client relationships, collaborate effectively, and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Displays high ethical standards, integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Willingness to report onsite in Quezon City or Ortigas as required

Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders by being responsive, prompt, and collaborative.
  • Provide HR policy guidance, interpretation, and consult with management as needed.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop sound solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Advise on business unit structures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs of clients and employees.

Employee Relations, Engagement, and Retention

  • Address employee concerns promptly with appropriate feedback and resolution.
  • Foster positive work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Initiate and drive employee engagement activities, rewards, and recognition.
  • Conduct regular employee touchpoints (1-on-1s, small group meetings, FGDs) and provide reports with insights and action items.
  • Conduct exit interviews and submit reports to the Immediate Superior and Business Unit Head.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate probationary and annual performance reviews.
  • Oversee employee movements, including status changes, promotions, merit increases, and salary reviews.
  • Provide performance management guidance through coaching, counseling, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).

Career Management and Learning & Development

  • Facilitate career development discussions with employees.
  • Identify and develop future leaders through training initiatives.
  • Determine and address business unit and individual training needs in collaboration with L&D.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program success, ensuring objectives are met.

Employee Discipline

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, minimizing legal risks.
  • Consult HR Leaders on disciplinary actions and enforce company policies, including the Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct learning sessions or roadshows on discipline management.
  • Manage and resolve complex disciplinary issues through thorough investigations.

Compliance and Occupational Safety & Health (with Facilities & Admin)

  • Implement, maintain, and inspect workplace health and safety standards.
  • Provide safety management, advice, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Engage employees in workplace safety programs and training.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (DOLE, PEZA, BOI, etc.).

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks assigned by the Company as required.
  • Comply with instructions from authorized Company representatives.
  • Carry out administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned.
