Job Specifications

• Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

• Relevant Experience - At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments

  • Proven experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipeline implementation

• Knowledge - 

  • Cloud platforms and services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS)

  • Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)

  • Linux/Unix systems administration and networking fundamentals

  • Monitoring and observability tools

  • Cloud security and compliance frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) for production and development.

  • Monitor performance, availability, and costs of cloud services.

  • Manage networking, storage, compute, and security components in cloud environments.

• Automation & DevOps

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

  • Implement scripts and tools for operational efficiency and cloud governance.

• Security & Compliance

  • Apply best practices for cloud security, identity management, and data protection.

  • Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for incident response, vulnerability patching, and monitoring.

• Monitoring & Support

  • Manage cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog) in coordination with MSOC provider.

  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for production issues.

  • Participate in on-call rotations for cloud service availability.

• Cost Management

  • Track and optimize cloud usage and spending.

  • Recommend cost-saving strategies and right-sizing of resources.
