The Qualifications We Seek

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Psychology, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience & Expertise

• 3-5+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), experimentation, acquisition marketing, or growth-focused analytics
• Strong understanding of subscription business models, including acquisition, engagement, retention, churn, and customer lifetime value (LTV)
• Solid experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven optimization strategies

Analytics & Commercial Acumen

• Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
• Strong commercial mindset with experience linking campaign performance to business outcomes
• Confident presenting recommendations and influencing decisions across product, marketing, and commercial teams

Leadership & Collaboration

• Experience coaching analysts, setting performance standards, and fostering a high-performing team culture
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities across multiple projects and initiatives

Your Daily Tasks

Strategic Growth & Optimization

• Lead CRO strategies that drive subscription growth, conversion, engagement, revenue, and ARPU performance
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Pricing, and Subscription teams to optimize customer acquisition and digital experiences
• Introduce data-driven frameworks and innovative approaches that improve business outcomes

Acquisition & Performance Analytics

• Own full-funnel acquisition performance across websites, mobile apps, search, social, and newsletters
• Analyze customer behavior, conversion trends, pricing impact, and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities
• Monitor and optimize key metrics including conversion rate, traffic, subscriber growth, churn, and customer lifetime value (LTV)

Experimentation & Insights

• Develop and lead A/B testing and experimentation roadmaps to improve conversion performance
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover audience insights and optimization opportunities
• Deliver executive-level reporting, recommendations, and performance insights to support decision-making
• Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and analysis

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, publishing brands, and business stakeholders to drive growth initiatives
• Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and a high-performance culture
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in agile, fast-paced environments

Success Metrics

• Improvements in conversion, subscriber growth, retention, revenue, and customer lifetime value
• Experimentation effectiveness, including test volume, win rate, and business impact
• Adoption of audience insights, segmentation frameworks, dashboards, and executive recommendations
