Japanese, Bilingual (Customer Service) - Hybrid | Taguig City
Bachelor’s degree with strong communication skills, both spoken and written. Strong proficiency in English and Japanese.
He/ She is required to liaise with internal as well as external stakeholders and update everyone on the progress.
This role reports to the Localization Project Manager. A Localization agent has a deep respect for all cultures, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial drive to steward projects through translation and processing to prepare them for launch across a variety of learning platforms and teaching modalities. At the end of the project term you will be expected to have reviewed and localized all course content tasked to you by the PM. You will have been involved in sharing content and information with additional localization partners.
Must have skills:
1 + year experience in translation/localization; preferably in technology clients
Good communication skills
Project / Training coordination exposure;
Ability to work in a rich diverse environment, handle cultural and language differences and an effective communicator
Key Responsibilities:
Format English content for processing in multiple languages by translation vendors
Use existing publication tools to help the team publish courses across all supported learning platforms
Review published localized training content on various platforms, finding and fixing issues, to optimize the localized learner experience.
Upload translated exam content to Google’s preferred certification partner
Required Qualifications:
Graduate or equivalent academic or industry experience
Fluency (verbal and written) in multiple languages including Japanese & English
Ability to work well as a member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
