Restaurant Host

Job Summary:

We are looking for a warm, welcoming, and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The host is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and ensuring smooth seating flow in the dining area. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them to their tables.

• Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about menu items.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders.

• Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure orders are correct.

• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

• Clear plates, refill drinks, and maintain a clean and organized table.

• Promote specials or featured menu items.

• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Maintain a clean work area and help with daily cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience as a Host/Hostess

• College undergraduate

• With pleasing personality

• Willing to undergo training
