Product Management Specialist (for Cloud Technologies)

YOUR BASIC SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience preferred (technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience)
Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager, or in a similar capacity
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations
Prior experience in public speaking and/or teaching/training
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
Manages and monitors revenue and profitability of various product portfolio
Develops pricing (value creation, structure, tools, policy, levels) strategy based on market demand and competitive climate, while ensuring profitability on an ongoing basis
Develops marketing strategies (segmentation, targeting & positioning) and successful implementation of product marketing programs and campaigns
Works closely with the marketing communications team to develop product and promotional collaterals and online communications as well as sales tools and information, including product case studies, white papers, etc.
Drives product launches and promotional activities including close coordination with marketing communications and leads management teams, executives, and other product management team members
Evaluates promotional plans, collaterals, and digital communications to ensure that they are consistent with product strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Overall monitoring of sales pipeline and demand generation activities for various product portfolio
Collaborates with technology partners/principals in implementing go-to-market strategies and documentation of standard deployment/implementation processes and practices
Enables Sales teams with appropriate product messaging and information and translates product strategy into relevant use cases
Works with pre-sales, delivery, operations, and compliance teams to develop streamlined processes for pre-sales consulting, provisioning, and deployment to achieve quick time-to-market with optimized resources
Represents the company in any industry events and thought-leadership initiatives
Visits customers to solicit feedback on company products and services and gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identifies and fills product gaps, generates new ideas that grow market shares, improves customer experience, and drives growth
Other projects and tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor or the Product Management Head
