ROLE SUMMARY 

The Deployment Manager will act as the key point of contact or liaison for the assigned joint venture partner (hereafter referred to as ‘Territory’ or ‘Territories’) and drive understanding of delivery capability throughout their Territory liaisons and delivery teams with specific responsibility for: 

  • Monitoring demand volume and coordinating the allocation of work received from assigned Territories to the Team Managers across the service delivery teams. 

  • Shaping the evolution of people model and capabilities. 

REPORTING  

This role will report directly to the Deployment Leader. 

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU  

This role will allow you to apply and expand your workforce management skills as well as efficiency and flexibility in a fast-paced, remote set-up. You would also get the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with teams in PwC US, coming from the Trust Solutions’ (Assurance, Tax) Lines of Service as the need for workforce management spans across the lines of services in the firm. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Operational strategy and business performance 

  • Manage capacity and resource planning of the sector.  Closely coordinate with schedulers or deployers to ensure appropriate deployment decisions, address capacity issues and monitor utilisation. Staff resources to engagements, maintaining engagement teams continuity, where possible and considering capabilities, experience and phasing of demand. 

  • Check over and under Utilisation trends by regular monitoring and analysis of day shape reports before making future bookings to attain optimal scheduling and adjust bookings so as to ensure balanced workload amongst sector members. 

  • Prepare required reports and dashboards for presentation to the stakeholders.  Analyze data to be able to provide recommendations and possible solutions. 

  • Resolve daily operational challenges through consistent monitoring to ensure compliance with processes and protocols. Take action on issues which prevent teams from working effectively. 

  • Anticipate the needs of the business, lead teams with clear purpose and drive high performing behaviors virtually and in person. 

Quality and Excellence 

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction for the services delivered specific to their assigned Territory. This includes conveying to staff teams across the group the quality, risk and regulatory objectives for the processes being delivered.  

  • Shares and implements best practices across the teams by communicating the importance of meeting customer requirements including statutory and regulatory requirements. 

  • Is aware of the AC Manila’s security policy, procedures and guidelines. 

  • Exhibit good project management skill to be able to deliver positive results in short timelines 

  • Identify areas for automation in processes relating to deployment. 

Leadership and People  

  • Take responsibility for development of own learning as well as other staff learning to enhance the Deployment Team’s performance. 

  • Initiate coaching conversations within the Deployment Team. Apply learning from experience and communicate effectively through active listening, empathy and methods to enhance quality of delivery across the team and other audiences. 

  • Contribute technical knowledge in the area of specialism. 

  • Initiate and lead open communication with teams and clients to build trust 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

Educational Background 

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Tertiary qualifications in Management or other business related courses 

Essential Requirements 

  • At least 7 years’ of experience in Business Process Outsourcing or related work with the last 2 years as Supervisor or Manager 

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development  

  • Commit to continuous training and to proactively learn new processes 

Preferred Experience / Skills 

  • Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly MS Excel 

  • Proficient and confident in English reading, writing and oral communication skills 

  • Proficient in the use of Digital Tools such as Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau will be advantageous 

  • With experience in audit-related processes and analysis at a service delivery centre or similar will be advantageous 

  • Understanding of accounting and business concepts and regulatory requirements will be advantageous 

Other capabilities 

  • Should be comfortable working and communicating with team members at all levels including senior management 

  • Ability to coach subordinates in the development of their career and skills
