Qualifications
- 2-5 years of proven B2B SDR, prospecting, or inside sales experience, with required APAC market exposure
- Strong cold-calling, outbound prospecting, and lead qualification skills, with confidence in high-volume outreach
- Excellent communication skills, with professional, neutral English proficiency
- Business-level Mandarin, Thai, and Korean proficiency are required for this role and may qualify for a language premium.
- Ability to adapt communication styles across APAC markets, regional buyer personas, and diverse cultural contexts
- Experience using SaaS platforms, CRM tools, and sales engagement software; HubSpot, Zoho, Mixmax, or Cognism experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills, with familiarity using automation tools, AI applications, and social media for sales prospecting
- Strong customer service orientation, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups
- Experience in logistics or freight is a plus but not required; backgrounds in international BPOs, call centers, or inside sales are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers across the APAC region through social media outreach, sales tools, email campaigns, and outbound calls.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and coordinate seamless handoff to the Sales team to support revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Leverage industry expertise and digital freight technology resources to assess inbound opportunities and route leads appropriately within the sales organization.
- Nurture leads when necessary to ensure prospects are sales-ready before transitioning them to Sales.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through timely and strategic engagement with prospective customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and company solutions to demonstrate how products enhance global freight operations and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized records within the CRM platform, ensuring leads are properly qualified, assigned, and tracked by geography, product focus, and customer profile.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, identify customer pain points, and facilitate introductions to the appropriate Sales Executive.
- Drive new customer acquisition for eBooking and SaaS solutions while achieving defined sales and onboarding performance metrics.
- Support customer onboarding by ensuring accounts are accurately configured within internal systems.
- Take ownership of the pipeline from initial engagement through successful handoff, focusing on qualifying opportunities and scheduling high-quality meetings that contribute to successful sales outcomes.
