Senior AI Agent Engineer / Agentic AI Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI systems that perceive context, reason about tasks, and take action using internal and external tools. You will act as an architect of intelligent workflows, bridging the gap between cutting-edge LLMs and production-grade software engineering. 

Responsibilities

• Design & Build Agents: Architect intelligent, goal-oriented AI agents capable of planning, acting, and adapting dynamically to achieve objectives with minimal human oversight.

• Orchestrate Workflows: Implement complex multi-step reasoning patterns (e.g., ReAct, reflection, planning loops) using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.

• Tool/API Integration: Connect agents to external APIs, databases, and SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Jira) to enable real-world actions.

• Memory Management: Develop robust short-term and long-term memory systems (RAG, Vector Databases like Pinecone/Qdrant) so agents maintain continuity in long-running workflows.

• Production Reliability: Implement guardrails, safety filters, human-in-the-loop, and error handling to ensure reliability in production.

• Evaluation & Monitoring: Build evaluation suites and tracing pipelines (e.g., LangSmith) to monitor agent performance, cost, and accuracy. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Programming Mastery: 3+ years of experience with Python (essential for AI work).

• AI Agent Frameworks: Proven experience building agents with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, LangGraph, or similar SDKs.

• LLM Experience: Deep understanding of Frontier Models (OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, tool-calling).

• Systems Design: Strong knowledge of API development (REST/GraphQL), vector stores, and async programming.

• Production Deployment: Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines to deploy agents at scale.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to take ambiguous, high-level business goals and break them into executable agentic tasks. 

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with Multi-Agent Systems architecture.

• Background in Distributed Systems.

• Knowledge of Javascript/TypeScript for frontend integration
