    No career growth, no benefits, you're on your own.
    The good thingsFlexible hours, Japanese students are nice and kind but they will leave reviews to you if they did not like you after lessons lol
    The challenges1. They can easily terminate your contract once you have missed your 3 lessons consecutively. 2. No career growth, no HMO 3. They don't value tutors, they only value students. 4. Too strict, they monitor your lessons and if they caught you yawning a bit, they will ask you to do coaching sesh

    They are expanding the possibilities of increasing the number of their customers, not the tutors.
    The good things1. Flexible schedule 2. Kind and polite students
    The challenges1. The quality monitoring team is too strict with minor mistakes. 2. The penalties are too high. 3. The support team is inconsistent in addressing your inquiries. 4. The salary is very low. 5. They don't care about their tutors.

    Talk about Power of Friendship and Customer is always right. 🤷
    The good thingsEquipment provided, 1 day personal leave monthly.
    The challengesPromotions don’t seem to be based on effort or performance—it's all about who’s friends with who. If you’re not in their inner circle, don’t expect fair treatment. The workload isn’t balanced at all; some people are swamped while others have it easy, and the pay doesn’t make up for it. Leaders don't listen to you AT ALL. They are just after the title, not the workload. Unfair treatment to the tutors. Penalty here and there. They don't investigate classes thoroughly. Prioritizes customers TOO MUCH.

    The challengesEverything is a challenge, from the higher-ups down to the admin. Their program itself is enticing, but when you get to be employed, that's when you will see how terrible this company is. Definitely there is no opportunity for a career development.

    It is a good company and teaching experience at Weblio.
    The good thingsThe good things is you have a flexible teaching hours. You can choose if you will teach for a day or not because you will be the one to booked your lessons.
    The challengesThe challenges working for this company is that you will just get a low salary. It will be based on your booked lessons because the payment will be per 25 minutes of a class.

    If you want to teach vast age bracket of students, this company is superb!
    The good thingsStudents here are kind and polite. The support system from the group is also superb! The training is also good.
    The challengesThe challenge is the schedule of release of salary, it will be given once a month. Other than that, the company is nice.

    Promoting expanding mankind's possibilities to reach more clients but not working on how to retain their hard working employees
    The good things-work from home job - equipment provided by the company - with internet allowance - monthly personal leave - winter vacation every December (at least 4 days with pay) - employees can also teach as part timers - off-peak season (low volume of work, plenty of downtime)
    The challenges- customer centered company - required shifts (at least twice a month) on weekends and PH holidays - don't expect too much about salary appraisal - management doesn't trust their PH employees - hire people externally instead of promoting tenured employees - doesn't give value to tenured employees - doesn't give promotion but gives loads of work to senior members - peak season is always stressful, employees work past midnight - managers and leaders are expected to do their staff job leaving them no time to do their "real job" as part of the management team

    Harsh and unjustified penalties for attendance issues.
    The good thingsHR staff are very nice and accommodating. Students are kind and easy to teach.
    The challengesTutor support is slow in responding. Their QA department seems to be detached from other departments. It seems like they have a quota of tutors to terminate.

    The challengesdeceptive and extremely demotivating. Also, no growth or any sense of directions at all. They kept hiring people from great Uni just to keep the operation going but waste of time...stingy to all!

    The good thingsteaching Japanese students was actually a very fun thing that happened to me during the pandemic because they are fun to talk to, and the module for them was easy to learn and execute.

    HIGH TURNOVER RATE LIKE EVERY WEEK
    The good thingsfree foods easy to file a leave friendly foreign colleagues it is an international company
    The challengesThere's been a high tunrover rate which I ignored in the beginning. This company seems promising but it is actually terrible. to think about it, nice that I was able to work with foreigners, head of the management is okay but some doesn't really have a clue on what was given to them. I am no sure if they know the basic of management. Everything is inorganized you will suffer from burn out trying to fill in tasks that is not really for you. Again, management is good but some managers are just clueless. No direction, nothing to help you grow. I felt like I have I have exhausted my years for nothing.

    Well i've been working in Weblio, very nice company
    The good thingsHonestly, flexible time you can open slots anytime . Students are very polite and nice. You can teach with no worries, also they their own platform which is webrtc.
    The challengesWell , i think there few students in this company but you can get bookings dont worry. Salary is good for beginners.
