    Proceed at your own risk
The good thingsStarbucks in front of the office building
The challenges1. Low pay relative to workload - Compensation does not align with the volume, complexity, or responsibility of the work expected from employees. 2. Favoritism and selective opportunities - Advancement and role opportunities appear to be offered to a select few rather than based on merit, performance, or transparent criteria. 3. Overtime is required and treated as an expectation to improve your performance review rather than an exception. 4. Performance reviews feel inconsistent and subjective, often not reflecting actual output or contributions. 5. Toxic work culture - Reports of unprofessional or harmful behaviors are often left unaddressed by management, and individuals exhibiting these behaviors continue to receive recognition or opportunities. 6. Disregard to employee health and safety - Office areas are barely up to health code; employees are asked to report on-site even during typhoons or hazardous weather conditions despite the possibility of a WFH setup

Advice: Don’t settle for less. Know your worth. There are workplaces that will value your time, skills, and well-being — keep looking.
The good thingsThe only thing I gained was friendships with my colleagues.
The challenges1. Toxic environment with poor communication and lack of support. 2. Unprofessional management that ignores employee concerns. 3. Terrible work-life balance — excessive overtime is normalized and even used as a metric for performance, regardless of actual output or efficiency. 4. Questionable performance reviews, where longer hours seem to matter more than quality of work. 5. Very low salary that doesn’t reflect the workload or expectations. 6. Poor onboarding and training, with minimal guidance for new hires and unclear processes. 7. No clear path for growth or professional development. 8. Susceptible to office politics, including favoritism and inconsistent treatment of employees. 9. Poor office conditions, adding to daily stress and burnout. 10. Allowances were removed without warning, further impacting employee morale and financial stability.
