POOR MANAGEMENT, LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROPER EMPLOYEE SUPPORT AND TRAINING.
The good thingsThe daycare is a big help for us parents working in Unioil. It really helped our child adjust early—before entering big school, they’re already used to being left with a teacher, which is a huge plus. We also feel at ease knowing our child eats and naps at the same time as we do, so the bond remains strong. Plus, the free lunch and snacks are such a big help too!
The challengesThere was no proper turnover, and I was left without a team lead during my first month. The only process taught to me was the 2307 procedure, and afterwards, I was expected to know everything on my own. I was even given an exam without sufficient guidance or training, which was completely unreasonable. The workload was excessive and there was no work-life balance — the account assigned to me was very demanding, and we were not allowed to leave while issues were still unresolved. This forced me to bring work home and continue even after hours, sometimes while outside or in public places. Overall, this reflects poor management, lack of leadership, and failure to provide proper employee support and training.

Unioil offers a family-friendly workplace where I can bring my child to the daycare program and work with a very supportive boss.
The good thingsUnioil is a great place to work! I can bring my child to their daycare program, and my boss is super supportive and understanding. Truly a family-friendly workplace.
The challengesMore daycare slots or extended hours would help parents even more, especially during busy days.

As my first job, my growth was fast tracked by being exposed to different projects and learning opportunities.
The good thingsThere are managers who care about your growth and will support you by providing the exposure needed for learning. I handled my own projects which allowed me to showcase and develop my skills.
The challengesSometimes, the fully onsite setup and non flexible schedule is challenging

Just a job not a career
The good thingsFree unhealthy food, flexible time, some employees come to work late and time-out early lol.
The challengesToxic management, culture doesn't aligned with values. Promotes agility but like to make simple things complicated. Low salary, no growth. Good as a stepping stone.

Having my internship at Unioil was a great experience
The good thingsAll of the employees are very easy to talk and they are all great. I've accommodated to the work area very easy.
The challengesFor the short time that I was at Unioil, I've never felt displeased. I felt that the company is always thinking about the welfare of its employees.
