POOR MANAGEMENT, LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROPER EMPLOYEE SUPPORT AND TRAINING. The good thingsThe daycare is a big help for us parents working in Unioil. It really helped our child adjust early—before entering big school, they’re already used to being left with a teacher, which is a huge plus. We also feel at ease knowing our child eats and naps at the same time as we do, so the bond remains strong. Plus, the free lunch and snacks are such a big help too!
The challengesThere was no proper turnover, and I was left without a team lead during my first month. The only process taught to me was the 2307 procedure, and afterwards, I was expected to know everything on my own. I was even given an exam without sufficient guidance or training, which was completely unreasonable. The workload was excessive and there was no work-life balance — the account assigned to me was very demanding, and we were not allowed to leave while issues were still unresolved. This forced me to bring work home and continue even after hours, sometimes while outside or in public places. Overall, this reflects poor management, lack of leadership, and failure to provide proper employee support and training.
