High quality demand for low quality pay that is not worth the stress and exhaustion.
The good thingsFree snacks, video games and shuttle service. Great benefits including HMO and other allowances. Great way build your resume and portfolio and overall industry experience.
The challengesVery stressful work environment. Pay is too low for the amount of hours and high quality work they expect you to deliver on a day to day basis. Doing unpaid overtime is almost a daily ritual. Micromanaging and nitpicking is rampant on every level. There's a lot of ego driven feedback from your peers, leads and managers that doesn't really help with the overall quality of the work. It's difficult to get promoted even if you reach your KPI's and excelled in performance reviews. Elitist attitude is very prominent, you would get talked down to and reminded of how lucky you are that your working for the big name company. Be wary of their ridiculous Non-disclosure and Non-compete Agreements when you leave the company.

Started off challenging, but the company is becoming a better place to work
The good thingslots of toxic people left, and environment has gotten a lot better and more growth opportunities available. managers are helpful, workload is becoming more manageable and management is transparent and as supportive as they can be. they also didnt force people to come back to the office and made sure people can adjust with the new setup after pandemic
The challengesyou're under the mercy of the headquarters sometimes when some decisions are made since it's an international company

Better Opportunities out there, you can start your careers in other places.
The good thingsQuality and standard is ok, so are other studios. Their quality is not industry leading nor groundbreaking. AD and lead are ok but upcoming leads are untrained and unequipped on handling an actual team
The challengesLow salary compared to local studios. Overworked leads, and managers who force deadlines. It just became a typical game studio and lost its appeal and uniqueness through time. Smaller studios can easily match their rate, with better work-life balance.

    Good place to develop skill
The good thingsHealth insurance. Company events. You get training. You'll work with partner studios around to world. Managers are doing their best to prevent burnout. Slide.
The challengesCompensation should be higher based on their "world-class" demand. Indie studios can easily match it. The art directors should lead by example. Hard to find motivation to improve your work when people in highest art position has no portfolio to benchmark. Hard to find work-life balance because even if manager tries to prevent OT, the deadlines can't be moved.

Great Company Benefits & Perks and Growth and Development Support
The good thingsThe company really cares about its employees, ensuring we have what we need to support us. They provide a lot of good medical, dental, optical benefits, with flexible working hours. There's a lot of access to training resources, and I got sent abroad to train too (for free). The culture is friendly and relaxed, lots of free food, fun parties and events (even while working from home). There's a free shuttle and parking, and they supported us throughout the pandemic with care packs and more benefits. Despite COVID, we get more benefits and increases. No lay offs.
The challengesThe learning curve is hard, especially if you're not used to international/global standards. They expect the best work from their employees so they really push you while trying to guide you. It's not for the weak hearted, it's for people who really want to push themselves to the next level.

    Don't let yourself get ruined.
The good thingsThey make you feel and live comfortably. But in reality, it's an illusion that they create so that you will be contented with what they will feed you. They will make you feel busy so you won't ever get out of your comfort zone to become a better version of yourself.
The challengesThey'll make you feel like you need them, like you're not worth anything without them just because they are Ubisoft. But the truth is, that's just a name. The great artists and employees in Ubisoft are all abroad. They're just using the name of the brand. The other video games and outsourcing companies here in the PH are much better.

One of the Best Job Experience
The good thingsLots of opportunities in the industry. Free games, free snacks, everything you need is in the pantry area, you have 2 monitors, and most importantly the CR has a bidet. Working environment is good, they want you to pursue what you want. Work life balance is the best, the management don't really pursue you to go OT. Benefits and perks, apply to know for yourself ;)
    The challengesThe urge to play.

    Immature Management
The good thingsNothing. You have free PC games, but you will never have time to play, because of the exaggerated/ not important expectation of the Lead from you.
The challengesThe challenge is you need to stretches your patience and just ignore the useless feedback of your immature Lead. Very unhealthy environment. Most people concern about their own agenda. They dont want you to be above them. Management always believe on hear-say.
