Trevi had been first established in the Philippines in the early part of the 1980s. During the most part of this decade, we had accomplished various prestigious special foundations projects, among which are the more than 2,000 positions of bored piles of the LRT Line 1 spanning 15 kilometres from Baclaran to Monumento which, even until today, is still servicing the commuting public of Metro Manila or NCR, the national capital region of the Philippines.The economic turmoil that had hit Asia in the later part of the decade had greatly affected the country so that in 1988, TREVI had then decided to fold down its offices. That was temporary however because some eight years later in 1996, we re-opened our offices in the capital.We setup our main office in the central business district of Makati City and we maintain our workshop or equipment yard in Sucat, Paranaque City, some 10 to 15 road kilometres south of Makati City. With our re-emergence, we revived our passion for challenges in the subsurface.Armed with the renewed techniques, modern technology, and updated equipment that we gathered through the years from the Trevi Group’s incessant research and development; we participated in the realization of many of the country’s varying feats in construction. Beneath those prestigious engineering and architectural edifices – mass railway transport systems, steel towers of power transmission and telecommunication lines, commercial and industrial plants and buildings, medium- to high-rise condominium buildings, bridges connecting highways and expressways, offshore marine facilities, tunnels and viaducts – we are once again counting our track records in this specialty field of bored piles, micropiles, anchors, soil improvement, soil nails, diaphragm walls, plastic cut-off walls, and biogas wells.
