Poor management, no onboarding, heavy micromanagement, unrealistic deadlines, and a toxic culture. The good thingsCompetitive salary and benefits. The company has strong brand recognition and resources
The challengesI joined Timezone Philippines as a creative from the start, but the experience was highly challenging. There was no proper onboarding, and poor management alignment caused confusion and conflicting directions. Micromanagement was heavy, limiting creative freedom, while unrealistic deadlines required completing multiple design tasks in very short periods. Contributions were often unrecognized, with credit taken by others, and excessive office politics created a manipulative, stressful environment. Artists were treated more like production tools than valued team members, making it difficult to feel connected or belong. Despite the attractive salary and benefits, the culture and work conditions make the role unsustainable for creatives.
