The Tarlac State University (TSU) is an integrated Management System certified (ISO14001:2015; OHSAS 18001:2007) state university in Region III offering different degrees programs through its ten colleges and three campuses.TSU started as an elementary trade school that progressed to a secondary school, later because a collegiate technical school and then a full-pledged state college, the Tarlac College of Technology (TCT) in 1965. On October 13, 1989, TCT was converted into a state university, Tarlac State University by virtue of Republic Act 6764.Most of its curricular programs are accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and University in the Philippines (IAAUP), and the Electrical Engineering as well as Secondary Education courses as Center of Development by the Development by the Commission of Higher Education. It has also been awaeded by the Joint Committee of the said commission and Department Budget Management with level III-A status in recognition of its commitment to excellent delivery of service to instruction, research, and extension.
