I would recommend Synpulse to those looking for a stable and long-term career in the IT side of the private banking or financial services industry.
The good thingsOne thing that stood out to me was how much the management values its people. Even those in top leadership roles make an effort to stay connected with what’s happening on the ground—they're aware of how developers are doing, both in terms of project work and general well-being.
The challengesThe work can be demanding at times, but that’s just how it is in the Avaloq space. But the support from the team made it manageable.

    Great for career growth
The good things- the company is not structured in many areas, so you'll find ways to improve tasks and processes which contributes to your growth - you can directly contact the top management to discuss concerns/suggestions - hybrid setup
The challenges- train your managers/career advisors on how to become "leaders" - prioritize the creation of process documentations for training and business continuity purposes - implement recognition programs for those who perform

Pro-Employee & Good for Career Development
The good things- Pro-Employee environment. - Management cares for you and will always assist with your internal issues, should you have any. - Project migration options are present if you decide to migrate from one project should you deem it necessary.
The challengesDepending on the project, you may face challenges where your current experience will not match what you initially desired. Synpulse will give you a choice whether to readjust the career development expectations or stay on the path with minimal consequence.

    I'll just leave it here...
The good thingsThe people in the whole company are so lively and you'll able step out of your comfort zone(good and bad). You will have a chance to meet different personalities.
The challengesThey are very lenient. It lacks discipline and you won't matter unless you came from the same previous company they went to. You have to make yourself seen and also you have to be prepared to be neglected and feel non-existent. They are not very concern with growth of all employees, they're just focusing on specific group of people. If you'll be landed in Corp Dep, don't expect too much on growth development (you have to solve literally everything on your own, it sometimes go beyond your job description.) No handover/trainings provided. Should also avoid comparing the company and the people to other companies. Build trust and transparency to everyone. Work-life balance and benefits/perks only applies to some but not to all.

A unique culture in a good way
The good thingsA culture of focusing not only on the satisfaction of clients but also on the development and wellbeing of employees.
The challengesWork load, work experience and career paths vary among teams. Direction may not be traditionally clear but may be pursued through personal initiatives.
