Rewarding internship expe with a supportive, family-like team that truly valued and trusted my work. The good thingsMy internship at Summit Sigma Ready Mix Concrete Corp. was an incredibly rewarding experience. I was assigned to both the HR Department and the QAQC Laboratory, which gave me a wider perspective and valuable hands-on learning.
Even as a college student, they trusted my work, asked for my opinions, and never micromanaged me. Everyone treated each other like family, and I truly felt cared for and supported the whole time. They also provided an allowance, which showed how much they value their interns.
If there’s a word greater than positive, that’s exactly how I’d describe my experience here. I’ll always be grateful to have been part of such a warm and motivating company.
The challengesFor the short period of time I was with them, the only thing I noticed that could be improved is the filing and organization of documents, which can get a bit chaotic at times. Other than that, I have nothing against the company — everything else was handled excellently, and the people were amazing to work with.
