I'm glad I've had my internship here.
The good thingsThe best thing in my internship experience here is that I got to work with the best set of people. My workmates remained very kind and very fun to work with amidst the stress they get from their workloads.
The challengesIt was far from where I live; no transpo allowance provided.

    Great journey here
The good thingsI am in sales here. They give commissions and lots of perks. Gives training too. The team are very productive and harmoniously doing there own stuff. Great if sales, stressful if part of publisher.
The challengesStrict in every way. Time, leaves, and quotas Fieldwork since i am sales. Needs own input or remarks in every article or book for review The management are great but gives too much pressure.

    Good experience for entry level
The good thingsThe working schedule. Nice to work here if you are an entry level and you want to have a web development exposure.
The challengesCareer growth and development. Not all the developers are having the chance/opportunity to prove their skills and to show their potentials. Lacks of training. Benefits are good but not what you are expecting.

A great training ground in the Publishing Industry
The good thingsWorking at Summit Media experienced me the opportunity to be involved in numerous projects that will engage for fans into avid readers. It enhanced my skills and knowledge to let my voice be heard turning into a feasible result. Also, it is a great training ground for employees who wants to pursue a career in the publishing industry.
The challengesOne of the challenges is that you have to keep up with all the projects and events happening at Summit Media. I have to be independent to fulfill the tasks given to me with minor supervision to produce a great result. Also I have to keep up with the latest happenings within the social media since Summit Media is now full on digital.

A company that gives proper experience to its interns.
The good thingsThe fact that as an intern, they give good opportunities. Not just to fill in the requirements but actual experience in order for students to know their field well on a day to day basis.
The challengesCoping in a fast pace environment.

    They know what they're doing
The good thingsSince digital publishing is still a relatively novel idea in the Philippines, the company is doing whatever it takes to understand its boundaries, its opportunities, and its limits. It works hard to make sure it is the first on all aspects in digital publishing, and you'll appreciate their efforts in making you understand your work and where it all amounts too. They show you what works and what doesn't work for your site.
The challengesEven though the company works hard at what they do to make each and every website create an impact on the people, you are never assured that your website will be spared from closing down especially if numbers won't meet expectations. That said, it entails much harder work on the writer to provide \"quality content,\" but there is no guarantee that \"quality\" means \"most read.\" It's all about the numbers, which can be frustrating in the long run.

Best training ground for any first-time employee, especially in the field of publishing, editorial, journalism, marketing, video and event production, etc. It's a holistic training ground!
The good thingsThe best thing about Summit Publishing, Inc., really, is you get to work with the best in the industry--from your core team in the company to the people you collaborate with in the industry. You cannot find any better experience than this, especially if you are looking to expanding your network, improving your skill set, and just learning all about the publishing industry.
The challengesIf you are all for a big salary, a standard 9-to-5 schedule, and are not flexible in terms of work load, then working at Summit Publishing, Inc. might be a little challenging for you. The company pays a decent amount, but offers many opportunities for collaboration within its titles, giving its employees a chance to earn more. But otherwise, the basic pay is a little low, and the work load is, most time, unpredictable.

    Excellent Company
The good thingsThe people that I got to work with are super kind right off the bat. They taught me all the things that I need to know in terms of being a part of the department they assigned me to. The working environment is really compelling to those who are up for performance-based jobs.
The challengesThe people within the company are quite intimidating at first, but once you get to know them, everything will be fine. Being around intelligent and competitive individuals could be a bit of a shaking thing for new employees most especially if you are fond of doubting yourself.

    Best internship ever.
The good thingsEverything about working for Summit Media has been great. Being an intern or a graduating student (as everyone knows), is pretty scary to begin with. But in Summit Media, as they were the coolest publishing company, everything was fun and learning was easy. It was really the best internship ever.
The challengesActually, the challenges I had was only because I still had studying to do. I still have to go to classes. But in the case of the work, the challenge was in the cases were the work task was complex and as an Intern, I don't have much time that's why I wouldn't really understand it well enough.

    Great work environment!
The good thingsThe work environment is very laid back, flexibility on time is offered. Depending on your position, you can have a semi flex schedule which is nice since you are able to off set your hours rendered.
The challengesMake salary more competitive. Improve on benefits and leave credits.
