    Great school for experience
The good thingsIt is a good training ground for teachers. You will be given a lot of learning opportunities. The school also practices simplicity and consistent in its mission to be actively involved in the community. The admins are kind. You won't feel any superiority as they get along with everyone.
The challengesWork load is too much.

The school has a great community but the admins have high expectations from new and inexperienced teachers.
The good thingsGood camaraderie between teachers, staff, and the nuns. Very efficient administration.
The challengesDoesn't give new teachers room for growth. Standard industry practice is to give teachers 2-3 years to learn & grow as a teacher, but they may opt to not re-hire you after your first year even though most of your mistakes merely come from you still learning the ropes in actual teaching.

    Great Training Ground
The good thingsI really enjoyed working with kids. talking to them and helping them. the biggest part of the work there is with kids from kinder to grade 12, it is a great experience because the kids are very loving and caring.
The challenges1. HR - it is a bit unprofessional. It needs a lot of things to work on especially with Testing and Assessment. This is one part of the job here, you have to administer the exams to applicants and make the reports on top of all you other tasks and duties. 2. Benefits - Here they follow the 3 year service before regularization for teachers which means you are not entitled to benefits and allowances even though you are under non - teaching staff. Also, you teach classes even when you are under non - teaching staff. it is a bit confusing but they say it is because you are part of the non - teaching staff under acads you are part of the guidance staff. 3. Career growth - this school offers a lot of experience in terms of guidance and counseling but it does not offer career growth to staff / employees. you don't get paid seminars shouldered by the school or seminars found by the HR. the career ladder is also not that promising. 4. We did not have a job description or initial interview with the HR. which means we did know that the other tasks and responsibilities outweighs the job description we were verbally unformed.
