    The good things1. You'll to depend on yourself, learn to do extensive research and be creative. 2. Employees treat one another as part of a family. 3. Learn to beat tight deadlines and pressure every time. 4. Meet various kind of people and business industry along the way.
    The challenges1. Lack of employee recognition 2. Bad management style which turns off employees 3. Low compensation 4. Basic leave benefits (5 SIL) and using SIL from December to April (Tax/audit season) is prohibited.

    Perfect place to hone your accounting, tax and auditing skills especially if you are seeing yourself in the public practice after leaving the firm.
    The good things- Opportunities for career development. - Values personal and career growth of the employees. - Competitive environment - A perfect training ground for aspiring public practitioners.
    The challenges- Minimal salary which is expected to an entry level accountant. - There are no other benefits and perks extended to employees except the mandatory SIL and the free seminars. I am hoping that the management would do something about it because after all, their employees are their greatest asset.

    The good thingsThey have a vision where they want to take the company but everyone must be on board
    The challengesNo trainings for onboarding new hires. Client expects you to be expert as they need consultants, not just any manpower. Company expects you to research on your own even for freshies, ask your way around etc. Final pay taking too long. Most learnings you'll get are self taught.

    The good thingsGreat co-workers, weekly training/seminars (with CPD units, quality of training depends on the speaker), birthday token
    The challengesNew laptop request takes too long, have to use old which have problems, no pantry, no spoon feeding (might be a good thing, sometimes deployed to a client even with no idea how to do things especially for fresh grads), very very low salary, but then maybe that's the standard for accounting firms, no benefits, basic pay plus mandated govt benefits that's it, SIL 5 a year
