Constant turnover caused by toxic micromanagement.
The good thingsWe enjoyed working with the lawyers because they were fun, cheerful, and stayed positive even though their work was very challenging. Their attitude made the workplace lighter and enjoyable.
The challengesOur department struggles because of a micromanager who creates a toxic work environment. They were often passive-aggressive and had difficulty trusting the team to do our work independently, which brought down our morales.
Me and my workmates eventually left because the environment became too difficult to stay in and suffocating. We also discovered that employees before us left quickly, which shows the bigger unresolved yet obvious issue. Things could improve with better leadership, but for now, retention will continue to be a major problem for them.
