Good, but it COULD BE BETTER.
The good thingsThe employees are respectful to the department that I'm part of and participative when it comes to facilitated programs regardless of the approved budget.
The challengesCommunication gap, if one cannot speak and understand the language, especially in Nihongo there are always difficulties even after translating to basic English. Hence, some of the assigned tasks are inappropriate with very limited resources, time, and even impossible to do so.

It is a great opportunity with the possibility to improve more.
The good thingsThey offer Nihongo Class and HR are doing their best to create monthly activities for the employees
The challengesThe work on site requirement. It's difficult especially if you're under the executive or if you are newly hired.

This company does not care about employees. Prioritizes rules over what makes sense
The good things* Offered sufficient training but not much project opportunities
The challenges* Japanese culture gets in the way of fully focusing on software development career. Cares more on your impression on Japanese bosses rather than technical skills and contributions * No clear defined roles - jack of all trades, master on none * HR does not respond to former employees reaching out for job description or certificates of employment * Salary rate was not competitive compared to similar offerings from the same industry

It's okay, but it could be better
The good thingsThey value their employees. They try to give things that the employee needs and try to keep employee motivation up.
The challengesDon't know how to listen to employees, or utilize feedback. Micromanaging.

One of the most memorable learning I've ever had.
The good thingsThe people around are very approachable. No matter how easy your question, they answer professionally.
The challengesThey should make a schedule for training that everyone can participate. It's an opportunity of an on the job trainee to have training in order to enhance the ability suited in a particular task.
