This company has been a complete disappointment. The good thingsThere are no positives to speak of
The challengesThis has been the worst company experience I have ever had. The treatment is inconsiderate, unfair, and they show no regard for their employees. I want to share my experience during my probationary period, as I feel it’s important for prospective employees to be aware of the challenges that may arise if they decide to join this company.
Unrealistic Expectations from the Start
From day one, the company’s approach was extremely unfair. Your performance score is based solely on the first three months, without any consideration of the unique challenges you might face during this time.
First Month:
During my first month, I was placed into production without any proper support. My team consisted of other new hires, and there was no one to guide us. Despite this lack of support, there was an immediate expectation to meet performance targets, even though we had no chance to learn or adapt.
Second Month:
In the second month, the company transitioned me to a more complex task (EDD), which had been handled by a senior and specialized team. This was a significant step up, and I had no real support to take on this responsibility. As a new employee, how was I supposed to manage a complex task like this without even being fully familiar with the basic duties? Yet again, the expectation was to hit performance targets immediately.
Third Month:
By the third month, the company assigned me tasks that were not even covered during training, expecting me to figure things out on my own. They placed additional pressure on me to perform flawlessly, without giving me the necessary resources or support to succeed.
Lack of Empathy for Personal Circumstances
To make matters worse, the company shows no understanding when employees face genuine personal challenges. For instance, during a typhoon, when we couldn’t make it to work due to severe weather conditions, we was threatened with a Notice to Explain (NTE) for not attending. Despite the situation being covered widely in the news, and even though we informed them through the proper channels about my inability to report due to the storm, they demanded unnecessary proof (like photos or videos) to justify our absence. This is not only unreasonable but also disrespectful of employees’ circumstances.
