High expectation, low salary and low compensation.
The good thingsWork location is OK.
The challengesThey make you do other work that is not in your job description for a few reasons: (1) You have a background of the "other work" they want you to do, and (2) they lack manpower. They also do not care about mental health. If you struggle on something mentally, that's on you.

Traumatic work experience. Not worth it
The good thingsIf you get lucky, you can travel to other countries. It is well-known as a big travel agency by other foreign and local counterparts. They have a good service
The challengesI'm sorry to say this but this company has a big problem in keeping a healthy workplace. There is a lingering fear amongst employees bec a mistake will warrant a visit to the "higher-ups" office- a visit you wouldn't want to experience. The way the top management talks to their employees are very condescending and highly disrespectful, personally or online (cue: viber) HR are too powerless to reign them in unfortunately. If you want better mental health, this is not the place for you. If you are a fresh grad, weigh the pros and cons of being able to work in a big company vs having a traumatic work experience. There's a reason why some companies always hire...

Unveiling my experience working for Rajah Travel Corp.
The good thingsIt's a highly diverse company that offers abundant opportunities for learning, especially when involved in generating quotations, ranging from airlines to cruise lines
The challengesTwo challenges that contribute to the difficulty are the heavy workload and the management's approach of treating every inquiry as urgent. While I acknowledge the shortage of staff, I believe we can explore alternatives to reduce the workload. Additionally, it might be beneficial to reconsider categorizing every inquiry as urgent. While we are adept at prioritizing, the constant pressure can lead to mistakes.

    Think twice before applying
The good thingsI got lucky, I met some people (who don't work here as well, thank God) who became friends in the long haul. If they still have intellicare as their HMO, this is a plus.
The challengesWork life balance is terrible, they make you feel guilty about not working overtime. The pay is not even that competitive.

Good way to start a career in the tourism industry
The good thingsDepartment I was assigned was blessed with kind-hearted and fun-loving employees. People in my department always have the initiative to help. Most of the time they got your back, especially if you are facing an escalation. It is a good place to meet new friends and professional co-workers.The pressure of the job will really hone you to be the best customer service agent possible.
The challengesLong working hours. Overtime is required. Sometimes you will get calls about work during weekends, holidays and even when you have already gone out of the office.

Well-payed and office activities were seldom.
The good thingsThere are small activities like free merienda in the office which lightens up the mood for everyone. Also, the pay is highly satisfying for entry-level.
The challengesThe minority of the management is passive. Hoping they could improve on this.
