    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Poplar Homes appreciate the great, kind, and generous management, as well as their exceptionally smart and easy-to-work-with colleagues. The office environment is described as atypical and better than other companies, and benefits such as free lunch and snacks are provided. There are opportunities for career growth in terms of technical knowledge and leadership skills, and the company has an agile culture with self-managing teams.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a lack of clarity regarding additional workloads, which can come as a surprise. There are concerns about management practices, such as valuing loyalty over skills and leadership qualities, and a lack of improvement in people management leading to high attrition rates. Reviewers also note that there can be a lack of flexibility in decision making, with only one person's solution being considered acceptable, even if it does not make sense. There are also concerns about some product managers not having the necessary technical qualifications for their roles.

One of the most outstanding property management company I've ever worked with.
The good thingsThe Executives are great, kind, and generous. The people that I've worked with were exceptionally smart. The office environment was atypical, far more better than I've ever been in other companies.
The challengesEvery company has one. They don't differ from the rest. The obscurity towards additional workloads was probably the worst, you'll just get surprised.

A Declining Experience: Overworked is an Understatement
The good things- Free lunch and snacks - Teammates are easy to work with
The challenges- "Loyalty" is valued more than technical skills and leadership qualities - No improvement on people management therefore high attrition rate - The solution of one person is the only "acceptable" way even if it does not make sense - Untrue "unlimited" leaves because you cannot really take a vacation due to the workload and the management thinks you're moonlighting or looking another job - Overworked is an understatement - Some product managers are non-technical and it seems they are not qualified for the job
